Behind the Glow is where you’ll find what’s currently being crafted in our studio—small-batch pours, fresh formulas, and works-in-progress.

By popular demand, handmade tallow soap has officially joined the Ōlinolino collection.

Each bar begins with locally sourced, grass-fed tallow that I carefully render by hand. Combined with organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic castor oil, water, and lye, every batch is made completely from scratch using the traditional cold process soap-making method—never a melt-and-pour soap base.

After pouring, each loaf is allowed to rest before being hand-cut into individual bars approximately 48 hours later. The bars are then placed on curing racks for a minimum of six weeks, allowing excess water to evaporate and creating a gentle, long-lasting bar of soap.

Natural clays, botanicals, charcoal, spirulina, and mineral pigments create beautiful colors and designs, while thoughtfully selected essential oils and natural fragrance oils give each variety its own character. Because every loaf is mixed, poured, and hand-cut in small batches, no two bars are exactly alike.

What began as one of the most requested products at local markets has become a permanent part of the studio. I'm excited to finally share these handcrafted soaps with you and hope you enjoy using them as much as I enjoy making them.
